CHAIRMAN: Konrad Perzynski

In 2008 he defended his master thesis at the faculty of metallurgy and materials science in applied it. The research was on: the development process of spinning copper tubes for the electrical industry. Then in 2015 he got his Ph.D. Degree at the department of applied computer science and modelling for the thesis: development of hybrid RCAFE model for fracture modelling in multiphase materials. In 2016 his work was awarded for the best presentation at the sixth ECCOMAS Olympiad. He is a co-author of 78 articles in reviewed journals (15 publications in journals ranked in the Philadelphia list) and international conference proceedings.

CO-CHAIRMAN: Krzysztof Bzowski

In 2011 he defended his Master thesis at the Faculty of Metals Engineering and Industrial Computer Science in Applied IT. The research was on: Implementation of the heat flow model using OpenCL technology. Presently his Ph.D. thesis is related to Application of statistical representation of the microstructure to modeling phase transformations in DP steels by solution of the diffusion equation.  He is a co-author of 42 articles in reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. The results of his research activities were presented at 19 national and international conferences in the field of computational materials science.
